October 11, 2018; All That I Remember

Ok. I’m going to make it to the end this time. I promise.

There was a loud crack, and I stopped speaking as Felix began to glow. A deep white light radiated from inside his bones, coating him in an aura of magic. He looked panicked, and he moved his mouth frantically, but he produced no sound.

Cracks began to snake across his bones, like marbles rolling across a thin sheet of glass. The cracks glowed even brighter, as if he was bursting apart from the inside with energy. And then… that’s exactly what happened. Felix shattered, miniscule fragments of bone shooting in all directions, followed by drops of blood. I screamed as the fragments hit me, both in pain and fear. The other two skeletons had already begun glowing, and they too tried to scream with no luck. The world started to fade, and I began to feel very dizzy. The last thing I remember seeing was the blood on my fingers, and then I collapsed to the floor.

When I woke up I was in shackles, metal cold against my bones. I seemed to be in some kind of basement, with walls that were dark and cool. Four Fuckboys stood around me, staring.

“Well, look who finally woke up!” said one, wearing a black hoodie.

“Yeah, now we finally get to have some fun,” agreed another, his blue eyes lighting up maliciously.

The other two just chuckled as Hoodie walked towards me. He tapped my leg with his shoe. “What’s your name, skelly?”

I didn’t answer, keeping my gaze fixed straight ahead. He laughed. “Fine then. We’ll just call you Skelly.”

“Why am I here? What do you want with me?”

Blue Eyes approached me. “What do we want with you? Why, we just want some information.”

“Yeah,” Hoodie added, “like where the hell did you come from?”

I didn’t respond, focusing on how weak I felt. I had no idea how long I had been out, and I felt like I needed milk desperately. “Do you… do you have any milk?”

“Milk?” Blue Eyes laughed. “You hear that boys? Skelly wants some milk.” The Fuckboys all shared a look that sent shivers down my spine.
Hoodie winked at me. “I say we give Skelly what he wants.”

The Fuckboys all gathered around me, roughly pushing me back and forth between them. “Who wants to go first, huh?” “Here, you have him.” “No, you take him.” “Send him over here!”

Then they… no. I don’t need to say that. There might be children reading this. I’m sure you can figure out what they did.

When it was finally over, I lay on the ground, arms pulled tight across my chest. I felt… empty. Every part of me felt wrong, like it wasn’t mine anymore. I can still feel it, still feel them touching me. This is hard to write.

I know now that I was only in there for a few days, but it felt like forever. I don’t know how many times they entered that room, how many times they had their way with me. It all blurred together, and I tried to detach myself, hide in my head to escape the worst of the torture. It didn’t work.

The next thing I remember is waking up back at base. One day the Fuckboys were in that room with me, “having fun.” Then they left, and I woke up next to Bill. I don’t know how I got here. Bill tells me they found me on the side of a highway after following a magical beacon. He tried to question me about it, but I know nothing. All I know is that I’m alive.

I’m alive, and I will be okay. I have to remember that. I will be okay. I will be okay.
