in love at first sight.
But your eyes shine like raindrops,
atop the silky petals
of your voice.
Your touch
carries no hint of thorns,
your scent
irresistibly alluring.
In moments,
one can see the uniqueness
of a rose,
and know they want to cherish it.
I don’t believe
in love at first sight.
But I believe in roses.
